This Toronto waterfront condo renovation combines a striking interior by Hiatus Design with Greening Homes’ approach to healthier, more responsible construction. The project was named a finalist for Best Condominium Suite Renovation at the RenoMark Renovator and Custom Homes Awards.

Working with interior designer Dana Kosich of Hiatus Design, Greening Homes brought the renovation to life while integrating performance and sustainability considerations behind the finished spaces. The project was retrofitted to achieve energy performance above minimum building-code requirements, demonstrating that meaningful efficiency improvements can be incorporated into a condominium renovation.

Throughout construction, Greening Homes applied its broader approach to responsible renovation, with attention to material selection, efficient use of resources, construction waste management and healthy indoor air quality. These considerations were incorporated alongside the project’s architectural and interior design objectives rather than treated as separate features.

The result is a refined urban home where interior design, occupant health and building performance work together—bringing Greening Homes’ approach to responsible renovation into the unique constraints of a condominium setting.
