48 Ramps Built with StopGap for the Annex! By: greening homes

Building on our great relationship with the StopGap team, our GH crew volunteered their time to build ramps for neighbourhood businesses in the Annex. This was our biggest build yet, and all 48 ramps were constructed and primed in short order.

We had five GH members out to cut, build and prime the ramps while working with other volunteers. Even Chris was able to make it out to lend his carpentry skills. To make things run a little faster this time around, Steven, one of our Construction Managers, built a jig to ensure the ramps had the perfect angle. Each ramp had dimensions pre-measured by the StopGap team.

StopGap is a not for profit organization that works to make spaces accessible to everyone through fun community projects. If you know of a neighbourhood who might be interested in having ramps built, please contact Luke Anderson, a StopGap co-founder.
