Well, halfway there! Connor Malloy our Operations Manager recently passed his first of two exams for his BCIN (Building Code Identification Number). In the next 6 weeks he will write the second exam to receive his full BCIN.

A professional with a BCIN has the ability to consult, review and submit drawings for building permits within Ontario. BCINs are required by any professional consulting and submitting drawings for permit who is not a licensed Architect or Engineer. Having one of our crew hold a BCIN formally recognizes our professional understanding of the OBC (Ontario Building Code) and our ability to supply our clients with even greater expertise.

At the end of the day, all of our senior carpenters have the knowledge to pass the BCIN exams so you are always in good hands. We look forward to updating you in the coming weeks with the results of Connor’s second exam.

Best,
Chris Phillips, President
